My water heater is leaking. What should I do right now?
Turn off the cold water supply valve on top of the tank. For gas units, turn the gas control to "off" or "pilot". For electric units, switch off the breaker. Then call us at (916) 905-4468. A small drip can turn into a flood quickly, so do not wait.
Should I repair or replace my water heater?
If your tank is under 8 years old and the issue is a thermostat, igniter, element, or valve, repair usually makes sense. If the tank itself is leaking or the unit is 10+ years old, replacement is usually the smarter investment. We will always tell you honestly which option saves you more.
